Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one victories have been won on hard courts
A revitalized Daniil Medvedev claimed his maiden championship for 882 days with victory over Corentin Moutet in the tournament championship match.
Medvedev, a former world number one, has experienced a difficult season, winning just a single victory at the big events and undergoing a meltdown at the American major.
Medvedev's unpredictability on the tennis tour - and difficulties with his serving in especial - led to him dropping out of the elite rankings and ultimately separating with long-time trainer Gilles Cervara.
Presently collaborating with his coach and Goetzke, Medvedev has consistently improved in the last few weeks - peaking in a closely contested three-set win over Frenchman Moutet.
This represents the player's first title after the Rome competition and first on a hardcourt after that period of 2023.
Victory also means Medvedev has won twenty-one titles at 21 various tournaments.
"For the first time I have attended a competition with my both daughters at once, so to get a title is particularly special," said ranked player Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in dedication of my younger daughter Victoria, because the initial championship I got when my child my daughter was delivered was for her."
Medvedev, the past champion, had lost his last six title deciders, featuring in that event previously this season.
Medvedev's retrieving play style and regular emotional displays on the tennis court had prompted observers to wonder if his ability to perform at the highest level was over.
Yet the athlete has altered his approach in the last few weeks, attempting to approach the net and compete positively, backed up by an improved service.
He fought back from a disadvantage in the opening set against the tricky Moutet, winning four of the last five points to take the lead.
Both players exchanged service breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, attempting for his initial ATP Tour title, gained dominance to push for a third set.
He defended four early-game chances in a tight final set before Medvedev broke to fifteen to serve for the match.
Fittingly, the winner earned the title with a point at the net, with his opponent incapable to control a return after over two and a half hours.
